Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has publicly criticised midfielder Mathieu Flamini for cutting his shirt sleeves.
According to tradition, all Arsenal players must wear the same kit chosen by the club captain on matchdays.
Flamini prefers to wear short sleeves but Arsenal have been wearing long sleeve jerseys of late.
In order to rectify the issue, Flamini has been cutting off the sleeves on his jersey which has seen him clash with Arsenal kitman.
Wenger has now addressed the issue and was critical of his player.
He told The Guardian "I do not like that and he will not do that again. I was surprised he did that. We don't want that."
But Flamini has hinted that he may defy his manager, saying:
"I've been playing at the top level for 10 years. I like to wear short sleeves, that's what I like to do."
