One for the purists, definitely one for the purists.

The weather took its toll on sporting events across the UK and Ireland over the weekend, but few were as badly affected as a semi-professional rugby game in Wales.

Nearly 5,000 people were in attendance as they hoped to see a beautiful, swashbuckling game of rugby but were instead treated to 30 men rolling around in the mud chasing after an ever elusive oval shaped ball.

Not to say entertainment wasn't to be found at the game, with players trying, and failing, to keep their footing beneath them being a source of much joy. One can also derive pleasure knowing that the substitutes' luminous pink jerseys didn't stay that way for very long.
