For the second time in three years, Tyrone enter the qualifers in Round 1 after losing to Donegal in the Ulster Championship.

Mickey Harte's side lost by three points yesterday in Ballybofey and now stand six games away from an All Ireland Final.

In 2013, Tyrone traversed through the qualifiers, before losing to Mayo in the All Ireland Semi Finals.

The Red Hand county were always behind in yesterday's game and were four points down after ten minutes before Darren McCurry scored for Harte's side.

Tyrone finished the game with 14 men as Sean Cavanagh was sent off in the final stages of the game.

Newstalk Sports Oisin Langan spoke to the Tyrone manager Mickey Harte in a windy Ballybofey after the game about the loss and what the summer holds for Tyrone.
