Donegal continued their impressive form with Rory Gallagher at the helm after a nine point win over Armagh in the Athletic Grounds.

The result never looked in doubt from the second minute when Padraig McBrearty slotted the ball past Matthew McNeice at the second attempt. The game was over by half time as Donegal went into the break leading by 1-9 to 0-2.

The second half saw the home side try and put some respectability on the scoreboard, with scores from Ciaran McKeever, Caolan Rafferty, Ethan Rafferty and Tony Kernan in the second half. A Donegal goal ten minutes in the second half from Marty O'Reilly, ensured the Ulster champions played the final 25 minutes in a sensible manner starving the Armagh side of any meaningful possession.

After beating Tyrone and now Armagh, Donegal go on to the semi finals, where they face Derry just one win away from their fifth Ulster final in a row.

The Donegal manager Rory Gallagher spoke to Dave McIntyre after the game in the Athletic Grounds.
