Ten points down with 15 minutes to go and most people would give up the chase.

But that's not the mentality of the Cork Ladies team who staged a stunning comeback against Dublin yesterday to claim their ninth All Ireland Football title in ten years.

Full back and dual player Angela Walsh praised admitted that they "looked dead and gone" as the final quarter approached when she spoke to Off The Ball from the team's celebrations tonight:

"We looked like we were dead and gone, really, with 15 minutes to go. We were so far down, but thankfully we came back."

Walsh paid tribute to manager Eamon Ryan and spoke about his calm approach at half-time when the chips were down.

The full back, who played in the recent camogie final win for Cork, also spoke about the pressure of playing in two deciders so close together.
