65 years is a long time for any county to wait for silverware.

But on Sunday, the minors of Waterford ended a prolonged drought by winning an All Ireland title at Croke Park.

Needless to say, Waterford native and Newstalk Breakfast's Oisin Langan was ecstatic and he caught up with Waterford minor manager Sean Power after last night's Dungarvan homecoming.

Power paid tribute to the people who came out to see the team home, describing it as "beyond is wildest dreams." He also praised his players for the hard work they put in to achieve this title. But he also cited the importance of self-belief as key to Waterford's achievement.
