Leicester City, Manchester City and Tottenham piled the pressure on Arsenal last night, after the Gunners dropped to fourth place in the Premier League.

Claudio Ranieri's side remain top of the Premier League after a 2-0 win at home to Liverpool. Jamie Vardy scored twice including a goal of the season contender on the hour mark.

Manchester City moved ahead of Arsenal into second place. The Premier League favourites held out for a 1-0 win at Sunderland. Sergio Aguero scored the game's only goal before an excellent defensive second half performance from Manuel Pellegrini's side guaranteed the win.

At Carrow Road, Tottenham overtook Arsenal into third place after a 3-0 win away to Norwich. Harry Kane scored twice despite hitting the post on two further occasions as Mauricio Pochettino's side moved into the automatic Champions League places.

The top-two face off on Saturday as Manchester City welcome Leicester to the Etihad Stadium. A draw would be enough for Leicester to stay top.
