A lot of UFC fighters choose to wear hats to the Octagon as they walk through the crowd, and fans can't help themselves from trying to steal them. 

Over the last few years, there has been a spate of hat thefts going unnoticed as the stars of the UFC make their entrances.

Whether it's just one sticky-fingered thief or an organised crime outfit that's then selling the hats on the memorabilia market has yet to be confirmed, but it seems that police are powerless to stop this chilling crime spree.
