Luckily for the ITM Cup game between Southland and Northland on Saturday in Whangarei they had some spare rugby balls in the locality.

Southland's Tim Boys charged down a kick from Dan Hawkins early on for the games first score and by the time he crossed the try line the ball was flat from the impact of the charge down.

Boys' side won the game 27-18 to remain unbeaten in the ITM Cup after two games. He also got himself a unique match ball from the game to bring home.
