Iceland's fairy tale story at Euro 2016 can hardly be believed as they have gained plenty of attention and plaudits from the pundits for their great performances.
With an incredible small population (less than 350,000) the scale of their achievement in drawing with Portugal and Hungary before beating Austria to progress can't be understated, nor can the scaled of support they brought with them, with tens of thousands of fans heading over.

While the job of a commentator is to try and stay impartial as they relate and analyse the events of the game to the audience, few will have any complaints after the man behind the mic for Icelandic television in France got a little bit excited as the second goal went in.
You don't need to speak Icelandic to appreciate the pure joy of this moment, and gives a small bit of insight into what it must be like to be a fan of the smallest nation in the Euros as they experience this incredible journey.

Footage of the commentator Gudmundur Benediktsson's reaction to the goal has since been released. Sheer and utter joy. Is there anything better?
