Lionel Messi is not a normal footballer, and that should always be remembered every time we watch him find the back of the net. 

Along with Ronaldo and a select few other players on the planet, Messi sets the standard impossibly high, and while he regularly scores 40 or 50 goals in a season, that is above and beyond what should be expected from other players. 

Every season that he continues to grace the game with his presence should be watched in all its glory, reminding us exactly why we love the game so much.
