Rory McIlroy has added to his list of career milestones with the announcement that the Irishman is to become the new face of the Electronic Arts’ golf franchise, with 'Rory McIlroy PGA Tour' set for release on PS4 and Xbox One.

The game was made famous as 'Tiger Woods PGA Tour', which ran for 15 years as the developer's flagship golfing title, until the computer games giant dropped the American golfer in 2013. The series took a one year break in 2014 and now returns as 'Rory McIlroy PGA Tour'.

Not a lot is known about the game yet, other than the name and this short video of the gameplay.
