When you think of teams that aspire to play a brand of football that Barcelona could only dream of, Reading would not be near the top of that list.
That's what happened last night though, as the Championship side scored the opening goal against Hull City at the KC Stadium. Nick Blackman scored with the help of Matej Vydra and Oliver Norwood whose back-heels opened the space for the winger.
Despite scoring the opening goal of the game, Reading lost 2-1 to Hull. They remain in the lower half of The Championship, and are expected to re-appoint Brian McDermott as their manager today.
It was Blackman's first goal in 802 minutes. Not a bad way to end a drought.
What A Finish! Take a bow Nick Blackman and Reading lead at the KC Stadium. It's live on Sky Sports 1 now. #10in10 https://t.co/ons3R5cI1a
