Aston Villa fans have had little to cheer about of late. 

With their team rooted to the bottom of the table and all but stumbling out of the Premier League, the players' performances are not getting the fans on side.

Manchester City fans clearly had a lot of sympathy for their opponents during Saturday's 4-0 loss over Villa as a pigeon which made it onto the pitch, and remained undisturbed due to a lack of Villa attacks down that side, elicited chants encouraging Villa to sign up the bird:
