Arsenal have given themselves a chance of reaching the Champions League knockout stage against the odds after defeating Dinamo Zagreb 3-0 at the Emirates tonight.

The Gunners needed to win in order to have any chance of overhauling Olympiakos, who were beaten 4-0 by group leaders Bayern Munich tonight to leave the Greek side three points ahead with one game to go and a superior head-to-head record for now.

Mesut Ozil headed Arsenal in front tonight to settle any nerves on 29 minutes:

Alexis Sanchez would then score either side of half-time to give Arsenal a comfortable win, starting with this finish:

An Arsenal victory by two goals or more over Olympiakos will seal progression to the knockout stage.

Chelsea also won comfortably as they thrashed hosts Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel thanks to goals from Gary Cahill, Willian, Oscar and Zouma.

The result puts the Blues top of the group and a home win over Porto next time out will seal progression.
