It has only been ten years since the first Fantastic Four film (well, ignoring the infamous, low-budget Roger Corman version), but the franchise is set to get 'rebooted' this summer.
While there's certainly a strong case to be made that we don't need yet another superhero origin story - let alone four of them at once - this one seems slightly less pointless, given the almost uniformly negative reaction to the 2005 effort and its 2007 sequel.
This time, Josh Trank - director of Chronicle, and already lined-up for one of the Star Wars spin-off films - is at the helm. Four of the most talented and acclaimed young actors working at the moment - namely Miles Teller, Michael B Jordan, Kate Mara and Jamie Bell - are set to play the eponymous four heroes, who face off against villain Doom (Toby Kebbell).
Check out the trailer below, which shows The Thing, Human Torch, Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman using their respective superpowers. The film is due out in August.
