After some promising early roles in Dazed & Confused, A Time to Kill and Contact, for a whole decade it seemed as if Matthew McConaughey would be mainly known as 'the guy from all those awful rom-coms'.
We don't need to tell you that reputation has changed for the better thanks to the significant amount of great performances he has offered over the last few years, culminating in his Oscar for Dallas Buyers Club and his acclaimed work in True Detective.
He shows no signs of slowing down - and we have his leading role in Interstellar to look forward to in November - but McConaughey has taken a break from features to film a series of ads for car company Lincoln. Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn is behind the camera, and as you might expect from both Refn and McConaughey the results are well worth a watch.
