A number of footballing legends took part in an exhibition game in Kuwait on Saturday, as they took on a team of All Stars from the local league. 

Despite both Luis Figo's goal and another from Robert Pires, the legends team fell to a 4-2 loss to the Kuqwait All Stars, but all in good fun as the match to mark the opening of the new Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium took place in front of a huge crowd.

David Beckham provided inch perfect passes for both goals, but the Kuwaiti team provided their own spectacular efforts, including this brilliant lob over former Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann.
