Long driving has become a unique skill in the golfing community.
Players from all over the world, focus on their tee shots, while rarely playing full rounds. Length is key for long drivers.
Tim Burke is a two-time World Long Drive Champion and has had his swing speed recorded at over 150mph. A few centimetres off line, and serious damage could be caused.
Matt Ginella from the Golf Channel, decided to take that risk, when he allowed Burke take a tee-shot from his mouth. Burke's longest competitive drive is 469 yards, so there is power and control behind his drives.
Luckily for Ginella, Burke was on top form and he kept his nose intact.
When two-time Long Drive Champion—with a club-head speed of 154mph—promises he'll miss...my face. 😳🙈🎯 @TimBurkeGolf pic.twitter.com/7zmfiwF9RY
