Before Aston Villa played and beat Liverpool to book their place in this season's FA Cup final, Ireland keeper Shay Given was looking back at one of the low points in his career.
The Donegal man, who will be chatting to Off The Ball tonight, was dropped from the Newcastle team for the 1999 FA Cup final against Manchester United, with Steve Harper taking his place.

As he revealed, the manner in which he was cast aside was a bit tasteless.
"Do you ever get over it, I suppose? It’s not an easy one and I think it was Ruud Gullit at the time who didn’t even tell me, he got the goalkeeping coach, Terry Gennoe, to tell me I wasn’t playing. That was a bit of a slap in the face," he told The Guardian.
