Tottenham have won their Europa League group with Erik Lamela enjoying a hat-trick.

Spurs only needed to avoid defeat but got past Monaco 4-1 at White Hart Lane but ended up winning with something to spare.

Erik Lamela scored a first-half hat-trick which began two minutes into the game with his opener, before adding two more: 

Stephan El Shaarawy pulled one back for Monaco after the break but Spurs youngster Tom Carroll added a fourth goal with a quarter hour to go.

Earlier, Liverpool and Celtic both drew their games.
