An international football friendly between the Ivory Coast and Senegal in Paris was abandoned last night after a group of fans invaded the pitch with two minutes left.

Liverpool's Sadio Mane, Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha and Manchester United defender Eric Bailly all played in the game which was being hosted by Paris FC's 20,000 capacity ground Stade Sébastien Charléty.

They had reached the 88th minute with the score at 1-1 when supporters took to the field.

In one instance, Senegal player Lamine Gassama was essentially rugby tackled by one of the on-rushing fans.

It isn't the first time a match between the two countries has been abandoned.

In 2012, a fan riot in the stadium in the Senegalese capital Dakar as Senegal trailed 2-0 saw an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier abandoned.
