Ireland's medal hopes may not lie solely with the Olympic boxers, but based on our history in the ring, it's safe to say that they will feel a different level of pressure.

The country will be represented by gymnasts, horse riders and swimmers at Rio later this year and among the athletes who will fly the flag for Ireland is boxer Michael Conlan.

"People say you have to find something that you love and if it's your job, you'll never feel like you're working a day in your life" he says in the trailer for RTÉ's new series Road to Rio.

The series will give the inside track of what it's like to prepare for the Olympics as an elite athlete and the trailer shows him ferociously sparring Cuban boxer Marcus Forstall.
