Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal insists it is too early to criticise Wayne Rooney's performances this season.
The Premier League club's captain is yet to score in their opening two games and has seen his performances criticised.
Winger Adnan Januzaj got the winner on Friday night against Aston Villa and van Gaal says they do not need to buy another forward as they have plenty of other attacking options.
"We have Chicharito [Hernandez], we have [James] Wilson, so I don't think that we have a lack of strikers," he said.
