The Ontario Hockey League is a developmental league for the NHL.

Players use the league as a stepping stone toward the National Hockey League, while others play in the league as their careers wind down.

With a constant pressure to impress, players have to think on their feet to impress team scouts. That's what the Erie Otters player Dylan Strome did this week against the London Knights.

In a clash with the Knights' Brandon Crawley, Stome accidentally caused his rival to lose his stick. Crawley continued playing without the stick, and at an opportune moment, stole Strome's stick.

Helpless in an attacking situation, Strome skated away to grab Crawley's stick, scoring moments later.

Strome was picked third in the 2015 NHL Draft, and looks like a star of the future. With ingenuity like he showed on Wednesday night, it's easy to see why.
