If you've ever seen Happy Gilmore, the playing guru who helps Adam Sandler's character get good at golf had previously lost his hand to an alligator.

Alligators and golf have come together in real life though as footage emerged of one particularly enormous making its way slowly across a Florida golf course. Indeed, the person filming even muses whether "it's two guys in an alligator suit".

It's so large it almost seems too good to be true, although the alligator is apparently a fairly regular sight in the area around the course at Buffalo Creek Golf Club.
