Chris Froome has maintained his lead of over three minutes at the Tour de France.

But the 2013 champion's Team Sky colleague Geraint Thomas suffered a horrible looking crash at the end of Stage 16 after a collision - which was won by Spain's Ruben Plaza.

Thomas recovered to finish the stage, and stays sixth overall.
