Footage has emerged this morning of an unidentified fan appearing to bite a steward during an altercation.

The fan, reported to be an Arsenal supporter, appears to put his teeth on the head of a steward during Arsenal's 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

In the video, stewards are clearly seen to be restraining fans who retaliate and looks to bite the steward.

Yesterday's draw against Palace leaves Arsenal 13 points behind leaders Leicester and look likely to finish with just a Champions League spot once again.

The frustration seems to have affected some of the fans, with another twitter user claiming there had been an arrest outside the ground.
