Last week's edition of AIB's 'The Toughest Trade' gave us an interesting insight into how Donegal footballer Michael Murphy adjusted to rugby, while Welsh legend Shane Williams gave Gaelic Football a try.

And this week's episode, featuring Wexford hurler Lee Chin and retired ice-hockey player Alex Auld, was another fascinating insight into what happens when amateur and professional athletes swap sports.

The Wexford star jets over to Canada to link up with the Vancouver Canucks while Auld comes over to Ireland to join Chin's club Faythe Harriers.

As expected, both struggle to adapt to their adopted sports in the early stages but their natural athleticism allow them to find their feet as they go.

Without meaning to overload you with spoilers, there is one part of the documentary that is particularly interesting. After a training session, Chin meets up with some friends from home who have emigrated to Canada.

The 24-year-old speaks candidly about missed opportunities to travel abroad, in favour of his inter-county career.

"I suppose there is a small bit of jealousy in a sense. When you're speaking to them and they're telling you about your experiences when they're away in a different country, there is obviously that part of me that would have loved to have experienced all that stuff."

"As much as I might resent some of the stuff that you can do out in these countries, I know there's somewhere inside those lads that miss home and that they miss what I do at home. They miss their local clubs and miss their inter-county scenes."
