UFC president Dana White says Conor McGregor is itching to make a return to the octagon well before UFC200.

The Dubliner lost a welterweight fight to Nate Diaz at Saturday night's UFC196 and is expected to fight again at UFC200 which is scheduled for July 9th in Las Vegas.

White told ESPN Radio that he paid a visit to McGregor and that the UFC featherweight champion does not want to wait that long for another fight.

"He wants to fight again as soon as possible. He wants to jump in there and fight again. We’re working on who the next opponent will be," he said.
