Conor McGregor cut a relaxed figure as he addressed the media ahead of his UFC 202 rematch with Nate Diaz and responded to "dweeb" WWE Superstars who called him out on Twitter.
The Dubliner tweeted to say: "I haven’t really thought about [fighting in the WWE]. For the most part, those WWE guys are p*****s. They’re messed up p*****s if you ask me."
This caused a number of high profile stars to respond to the UFC featherweight champion, but when posed with the question yesterday he replied: "What's the main guy? John Cena. He's 40. He's 40 years of age. He's walking around in a luminous orange t-shirt and a headband talking about nobody can see him. We can see him right there. He's a big fat, 40-year-old failed Mr. Olympia mother f*cker."
McGregor is putting the finishing touches on his training camp this for 202 and admitted that it was unlikely he wouldn't rack up a loss over the course of his career in the UFC.
"It's part of the game, you just have to take it. It ain't nice. The highs are very, very high and the lows are low. But you suck it up, break it down into what went wrong and try and correct the mistakes. This is the game we're in, it's a crazy business. Nobody makes it out unscathed. All you have to do is look through the history books.
"I look back at the contest and I enjoyed the contest. And that's it. I've made my plans for revenge."
