FIFA have an impeccable sense of timing, given that their film United Passions is coming out in the United States on the back of massive global interest in the organisation - which also includes plenty of interest from the FBI.

Okay, it's not been good publicity for world football's governing body but it means there is a bit more interest in the 2014 movie starring Tim Roth (as Sepp Blatter), Gerard Depardieu (World Cup creator Jules Rimet) and Sam Neill (Blatter's predecessor Joao Havelange) - although that interest only garnered a measly $918 at the box office in North America when released there last week.

We'll be mentioning the unintentional comedy of the past year on Off The Ball and to get you warmed up, here is the trailer for a film which will likely need a sequel given current events:
