Liverpool have made it two wins from two at the start of the new Premier League season after a narrow 1-0 win over Bournemouth at Anfield.

Christian Benteke scored his first goal for the Reds on his home debut to earn his side all three points.

The Belgian striker was on hand at the backpost to prod home a cross from Jordan Henderson in the 26th minute.

But replays showed that the goal should have been disallowed for an offside by Philippe Coutinho, who appeared to interfere with play.
