One of the impressive things about the new Star Wars teasers is simply that they haven't managed to leak online ahead of their official, high-quality releases. The trailer for next year's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has not enjoyed such a luxury.
Due to be unveiled next week in IMAX cinemas and swiftly following a short teaser released by the film's director Zack Snyder, a camcorder version of the trailer has already leaked, complete with Portuguese subtitles.
In this world of HD and 4K streaming, this isn't really the ideal way to watch anything, but it nonetheless marks the first extended look fans have gotten at the Man of Steel sequel / superhero showdown. It's fair to say even based on this shaky cam evidence that this is going to a brooding film, and that we're likely to see a significantly darker take on a certain Caped Crusader (played by Ben Affleck).
It is above all a teaser, so it's more building atmosphere and hype than offering much in the way of new information. You can watch the trailer below, if it manages to stay online:
