New IBF Heavweight champion Anthony Joshua has spoken of his admiration for UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor.

The British boxer won the IBF belt by beating American Charles Martin in two rounds at the weekend and spoke highly of the Dubliner who he regards as a fellow warrior.

"I like everything about Conor McGregor. I love what he's doing for the sport of UFC as well and I hope he doesn't lose because it's a fickle world. One minute everyone's on your back, you're the flavour of the month. Take a loss, everyone writes you off," Joshua told Heavyw8 News:
