Arsenal recorded a convincing 2-1 victory over Manchester City last night as they moved four points clear on Manuel Pellegrini's side in the table.

Theo Walcott put Arsenal ahead with a shot from outside the box after the half hour mark. That was only Walcott's third goal in the Premier League this season.

Olivier Giroud doubled Arsenal's lead in added time of the first half. It was the French strikers tenth Premier League goal of the season.

Yaya Toure made Arsenal sweat in the final ten minutes, after scoring an excellent goal from outside the box, that left Petr Cech flat footed in goal.
