Cork City booked their place in the FAI Cup semi finals last night with a little help from their defender Ross Gaynor.
The Ardee defender scored a goal of the season contender as he gave his side a 1-0 lead, in a game they eventually beat Derry City 2-0 in the quarter final replay.
John Caulfield's side now face Bray Wanderers in the Carlisle Grounds in the semi final with a place at stake in the final against either Dundalk or Longford Town.
Gaynor will hope to add to his medal collection should Cork City reach the final. He has already a FAI Cup winners medal from his time with Sligo Rovers which he won in 2013.
