Australia’s preparations for the first test against the Lions have been hampered by the withdrawal of three players from their 25 man training squad.

Flanker Scott Higginbtoham, wing Digby Ioane and lock Sitaleki Timani have withdrawn from the squad.

Nick Phipps and Ben MCCalman, both of Melbourne Rebels, as has Kane Douglas of New South Wales.
