It's not exactly rare for actors to dabble in other fields. Some paint, some write novels, and some record music.
But Laurie Holden, who played the character of Andrea in Walking Dead, AMC's popular zombie apocalypse TV show, may have just blown everyone else out of the water.
Holden is a member of Operation Underground Railroad, which attempts to free children from trafficking situations.
Founded by ex-CIA agent Tim Ballard, the organisation recently pulled off a sting operation in Cartagena, Colombia which had been months in the making.
ABC News reports that traffickers were lured to a mansion under the premise that the owner wished to procure prostitutes for a bachelor party. Holden's role was to keep the traffickers busy while Balllrd and the police attempted to catch them exchanging money on tape.
When police swooped in, a number of women who had been brought by the traffickers were freed, some of them underage.
