Arsenal's Premier League bid has been rocked by the news that Theo Walcott is facing six months out of action.
The England international now looks set to miss this year's World Cup after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
Walcott was stretchered-off during Arsenal's FA Cup third round win over Tottenham on Saturday and the club have now confirmed the full extent of the injury.

The 24-year-old will have to undergo surgery over the next few days before beginning his rehab.
But the Gunners have confirmed that he is set to miss the World Cup this summer.
