Tim Howard has been one of the most consistent Premier League goalkeepers in recent years, excelling for Everton.
Last night, he brought his brilliance to bear in an ultimately losing cause as a plucky USA fell short against much-fancied Belgium over 120 minutes in the World Cup last-16.
Although it won't be much consolation in the short-term, the 35-year-old former Man United keeper won the Man of the Match award with his 16 saves being a World Cup record for a single match.
But as many of us remember, Howard did more than stop goals in a January 2012 match between Everton and Bolton Wanderers...
His high school yearbook photo has also seen the light of day since his heroics...
