Before The Hobbit and Sherlock really secured Martin Freeman's status as an international star, it was the original version of The Office - where he played good-natured Tim - that helped bring the British actor to the public's attention.
With The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies released in cinemas this weekend, Freeman has made his final bow as Bilbo Baggins (unless, of course, somebody decides to make another Middle Earth film or three). On this weekend's Saturday Night Live, however, he has appeared in a sketch that brings together two of his most popular roles.
In a comedic epilogue to his adventures, The Office: Middle Earth imagines Bilbo taking up a role at a Shire paper company. He is joined by Gollum, Legolas and other familiar faces - all, inevitably, overseen by wacky manager Gandalf.
