Dublin manager Jim Gavin says performances are his priority despite last Sunday's defeat by Cork in Pairc Ui Rinn.

The Allianz NFL champions were slightly surprising 1-15 to 0-16 losers on Leeside in game one of their title defence, albeit with a vastly different side to their expected championship XV.

"The overall philosophy is we're working on performances for the team and if we can get those performances the results will happen," said Gavin reflecting on the loss to Cork.

"And that'll be the same thought process going into this weekend's game against Donegal."
