Burnley manager Sean Dyche  believes the live response of Chelsea's players and manager throws a different light on a tackle branded "criminal" by Jose Mourinho.

The Blues boss was incensed by a challenge on his midfielder Nemanja Matic by Ashley Barnes which led the Chelsea player to react furiously in a way that got himself red carded.

Reacting to four key moments under scruntiny from Saturday's 1-1 draw, Dyche gave his perspective on them on the club's YouTube channel.

"No one reacts. Live time, no one reacts aparts from Matic," he said of the inital moment when Barnes made contact with Matic, name-checking Chelsea's players, his own side and Jose Mourinho.

"In fact if you look at the footage, when the camera pans back to Jose Mourinho and his assistant, they're calmly talking about what they should do. Now after the event with hindsight and camera views and slow-mo, now statements are coming out like 'criminal tackle'. I find that hard to adjust to when live at that moment 15,000-ish people behind me, their expert staff and most of the players on the football pitch [there was no reaction]."
