YouTube users are constantly trying to out prank one another, but few of them have the resources of a Hollywood marketing team. To promote the upcoming Carrie remake, one gang of mischievous marketers turned a New York coffee shop into a full-on horror show, and they had access to the tools to really take the gag to the next level.
Recruiting a group of actors, stuntpeople and technicians, the team managed to create an elaborate set that gives unsuspecting customers the impression that they have unfortunately encountered a genuine and very angry telepath. Their reactions are predictably priceless.
Check out the video below, which has managed to attract nearly 2.5 million views in the 24 hours since it was unleashed on the world. Looks like it was money well spent.
