Sebastian Vettel has begun life as a four time world champion in familiar fashion by winning his seventh consecutive grand prix.

The German was in front by the first corner, having overcome his teammate Mark Webber who began the race in pole position, and remained in total control of the race from that point until the chequered flag.

Webber was second, with Nico Rosberg of Mercedes in third.
