Manchester United will be without Robin van Persie for the next four to six weeks.

The star striker has been ruled out of action for at least a month after United confirmed that he had sprained his knee during last Wednesday's Champions League win over Olympiakos.

The injury means that the 30-year-old will miss both legs of United's quarter-final against Bayern Munich after the draw for the last eight was made earlier this afternoon.

The Dutch captain will also have to sit out Tuesday's Manchester derby at Old Trafford.
