Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has avoided serious punishment from the English FA for comments he made to the media.

He has simply been warned about his future conduct after the Dutchman denied a misconduct charge.

Van Gaal claimed referee Chris Foy was against his team in their original FA Cup fourth round tie at Cambridge which finished goalless.
