Last night, new Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal made an appearance on Dutch TV and naturally many of the questions involved his forthcoming role at Old Trafford.
Dutch journalist Elko Born translated the most important quotes from the interview and tweeted them out.
On his close relationship with Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, the Holland manager revealed:
Van Gaal: ‘Mourinho was the first one I texted. And he was the first one to text me back. He said he was jealous of my list of clubs’

He also admitted that he and Alex Ferguson have always been on friendly terms as he becomes the successor to the successor:
