Dutch media are reporting that Ryan Giggs has accepted a deal to become Louis Van Gaal's assistant at Manchester United.

Giggs was in the Netherlands today to meet the outgoing Holland manager.

De Telegraaf have claimed that Giggs has agreed to become Van Gaal' s No 2 and that the Dutchman's current assistant Patrick Kluivert will not follow him to Manchester.

The paper also claims that video analyst Max Reckers and goalkeepers coach Frans Hoek will join Van Gaal's staff. 

Van Gaal is yet to be confirmed as Man United boss but an announcement is expected soon.
